Name of Club: Fairview Elementary Eagle Robotics Team

Sponsor:
 Mrs. Carter

Purpose: On the Fairview Elementary Eagle Robotics Team, 4th and 5th grade students build robots with VEX IQ components. VEX IQ is a robotics platform designed to transform STEM learning for young students and their teachers. In the VEX Competitions, students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams from around the community, state, country, and world in a game-based engineering challenge. Classroom STEM concepts are put to the test on the playing field as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communications, and more. Tournaments at held year-round at the regional, state, national and world levels. In May of each school year, 3rd and 4th graders who are interested in Robotics for the following school year, can fill out an application with Mrs. Carter to be considered for the upcoming school year's team.
