Name of Club: FVES Reading Eagles Book Club

Purpose: The purpose of the FVES Reading Eagles Book Club is to create interest among students regarding the importance of reading, to model appropriate methods of reading, and to spread a reading culture throughout our school.
Description of Planned Activities: The FVES Reading Eagles book club is over for this school year. Students interested in the 2026-2027 FVES Reading Eagles book club can complete an interest form in the Fall of 2026. The first 15 students with an interest form and permission slip returned by the end of August 2026, signed by a parent giving permission for the student to participate, will be in the book club. The reading club will meet on certain Tuesday mornings from 7:05am-7:35am beginning in September 2026, and ending in February 2027. Any student in grades 4-5 may participate.
